REVISED SITE INFORMATION :

Page 9 - “83rd Ave. Ponds”

This site is primarily private property and no trespassing is allowed. The north end of the pond can be viewed by walking east from the Tres Rios ”Hayfield site”, but walking around the pond may produce a visit by employees of the gravel operation that produced this catchment.

Page 23 - “307th Ave. Ponds at Arlington”

Property just west of 307th Ave is private, and the two ponds are on private property. Be advised that you could be asked to leave, although many people drive west on dirt roads there to eventually arrive in Arlington without trouble.

Page 25 - “Arlington Farmfields”

This site once had two very productive ponds, but they were drained and cultivated around 2007. The area is still good for a variety of birds, but no waterfowl or shorebirds can be found there now. The owner extended permission to bird these fields back when the guidebook was published. It’s not known whether that individual still owns this land.

Page 27 - “Gillespie Dam”

There is a plan afoot to rebuild the dam and once again impound water for local agriculture. This could start in late 2010 or in 2011. Construction may close this site for an undetermined length of time.
